SAFEE is an NGO located in the Slum of Saidabad which was started after the infamous incident of 2021 November.
When Prof. Sujatha Surepally visited the slum after the 2021 incident, she was moved by the circumstances. She decided to look into the root cause and decided to help make it a crime-free space for the marginalized. She noticed the following Vicious cycle that people from the locality are falling into.
Our Story
SAFEE Foundation began with a simple belief: that every person deserves a chance to live a life of dignity, opportunity, and hope. Founded in 2021, our journey started with a handful of dedicated individuals determined to make a difference in their community. Over the years, our mission grew, reaching across borders and expanding into new areas of need. From providing education and healthcare to supporting environmental sustainability and economic empowerment, our work is driven by the values of compassion, inclusivity, and resilience. Today, with the support of volunteers, donors, and local partners, we continue to impact lives and uplift communities around the world.
